To answer your questions:
1.Please don't edit the stack XML file generated for another system because the SUM will for sure reject,better connect the system to be upgraded with the solman and
generate a new atck XML from MOPZ and provide to the download directory.
2.download directory and stack XML file
Release upgrade only:
You can include an enhancement package, Support Packages, add-on updates and add-on installations into the upgrade in this phase. The Software Update Manager searches the download directory and, if it finds the XML file of the SAP Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer, it prompts you to confirm it. If the Software Update Manager does not find a stack configuration file or if you want to choose another stack configuration file, you can enter the path to the stack configuration file manually. Based on the provided stack configuration file, the Software Update Manager calculates the import queue and checks if all required packages are available in the EPS inbox.
