In both Crystal 2011 Designer as well as in my .NET viewer app (using CR for VS 2010 runtime) it takes 4-5 minutes to load the report. I noticed some unique fonts, font sizes (6.5) and page margins (bottom page margin = 0), but the number of pages (2,356) could be the real reason.
I tested printing this report (2,356 pages) in my viewer app and it took about 4 minutes to spool the whole thing (about 10 pages spooled per second) and spool file size was about 80MB.
