Hi Raghunadh,

I think You have to assign to a field symbol directly, and Even if Such a statement is allowed how can you use a Field Symbol without Declaring It

I assume p_num will be having Numbers, now incase p_num contains 1 the string lv_str will have value

<lt_mara1> where this is not declared in the report.

Someone might give you a solution to your problem if you explain your requirement
