subreport is definitely the best choice if you require a lot of formatting options.
if you don't require a lot of formatting options consider creating a group on the applicable field that will be used to separate the pages.
then create a new group header section. now Insert a Cross-tab into group header 1 a with the fields used in the first part of your pic and then Insert a Cross-tab into group header 1b with the second set.
you can get rid of things like the lines and margins in the cross-tab expert but your formatting options are limited in this type of object.
